Lovely country pub with great food, a little more expensive than usual but worth it. Services was a little slow but it suited us as we were catching up with friends. Will go again.
Fantastic pub, seems like you have to know its there, a little bit of a hidden gem. the food is fantastic, if you go on weekends or evenings you should book. Ask for a place near the fire, its great ambience.
Staff service was beyond what we expected. Catered to our every need and were great with small children. The level of the staff here are what I would compare with the highest quality of restaurants. Thank you for a great afternoon. Toddlers are hard work and they definitely understood this! Keep up the great experience.
The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel special. We had a superwoman for our waitress, we were amazed at the amount of things this girl could do at once. She cleared our table in one go, a true acrobat. There was no rush, we spent a good few hours having our meal and relaxing in the casual atmosphere. They even took a few pics of our party at the end. Highly recommended.
Been here on several occasions and will be back. Even booked a family dinner for my dads birthday. Lovely setting, good menu choice with a good variety of options. Broad drink choice and great food quality. Only negative is mixed vegetables are a bit boring and made mainly of courgettes
