Our favourite dog-friendly pub for lunch. Smart inside without being pretentious. Plenty of tables inside and out. Good food and friendly staff.
The food was outstanding. The atmosphere with the open fire near our table made the whole thing even more cosy. Highly recommended
This is now a really nice, popular pub and eating place following a significant and quite impressive refurbishment and extension to both the building and a now sizeable adjacent car park area. The menu is quite extensive and reasonably price. Upon visiting this once frequented pub with friends for the first time in many years, Sunday lunch proved very successful and enjoyable. Food quality was very good and the service was friendly and helpful, although understandably a little slower due to the large number of diners. I would certainly recommend this pub to others and will doubtless visit again in the not too distant future.
Food was excellent. Wonderful interior. Great real local ale (God' Wallop was my favourite). Excellent disabled access and facilities. Staff were excellent, speedy and attentive. 5 stars - No faults. I will return.
Lovely location, very new and smart interior. Welcomed us with 2 babies and a dog! Food was excellent, great portions and all hot. Lovely pub.
